🐽 No Man'S Sky How To Land On Landing Pad
Setting up an automatic trading system with some simple rules (I.e. sell Indium stores if buy price > 15%) might’ve made that beneficial, but the noise and lack of parking is not worth it. There being no benefit to ships actually landing at your base makes it that much more annoying.
Try attaching a cuboid room to one of the sides of the pad, then use that to build down and under it. I have a 5x5x2 steel frame foundation lined up perfectly this way. 2. lun3ydav3. OP • 4 yr. ago. Thanks. Maybe I’ll mess with it using that method another time. For now I got some added. Updated OP.
NOTE: This video is drastically out of date.Building bases above the terrain is a good skill in NMS. Terrain regenerates, and can grow into bases built on th
When you portal to ANY starbase, your ship is automatically placed onto a landing pad, there's NO REASON why it can't work the same for teleporting home. And this has been an issue for a LONG, LONG time that's just absurd. I'm tired of having to waste either launch fuel or navigation data because the game is STUPID.
A. Put in time exploring and waiting at space stations and trading outposts (the ones with 7 landing pads) until an exotic flies in. It will eventually. B. Collect all the glyphs so you can use a portal and then go online and watch a youtube that shows you a ship you like (or the portal exchange) and get the glyphs and travel to that system and
Hello Games. No Man’s Sky was changed forever by the launch of the Foundation Update in 2016, with maybe the most significant addition it introduced being the ability to build bases. Since then
Alright so I just spent considerable time building another landing pad. Not but a few seconds after it's built and some foreign spaceship lands on it. So I wait & then it finally leaves. I take off, and then I find another one immediately landing on the landing pad. This keeps happening, one after another, every time I try to land on it.

Yes you can. But there does seem to be a bug with NPC ships all want to land on the same pad. It doesn't always happen, but sometimes I'll be parked on one pad and have half a dozen ships circle waiting for my pad even ilthough the other is free. Drives me nuts. I want to scream at them, and point out the other pad.
I have built a landing pad on my base and everytime I return to it, some random NPC has parked his ship on MY landing pad The computer console on the landing pad is only to call your ship over, but I don't want to burn a navigational data everytime I land because some random MF has decided to land on my base.
What I usually do if I don't spot the landing pad right away is I will enter 'photo mode' which freezes the game if you're not in a group or in multiplayer, and fly around with the camera until I find the facility and/or area containing the landing pad. If you really don't want to land on the landing pad nearby, just fly a short distance away

This. Also you can land wherever there is solid ground to do so by pressing Square when you wish to land. I've seen many people even land away from an outpost completely avoiding the landing pad. There was only one streamer (who I was watching last night,) so far that I have seen try (and succeed) to land on a landing pad outside an outpost.
It's a bug as far as I know since they won't land at minor outposts anymore, either, or on any of your landing pads no matter how many you build. Been this way since Beyond. Hopefully they'll fix it someday. I like the suggestion of toggling landing pads as reserved.
How to land on a landing pad. I've finally figured out how to land at landing pads without your ship deciding to overshoot and land somewhere that's well, not a landing pad. Slow down on approach and wait for the rings to turn from blue to green. Hold down both your brake and the landing button at the same time.
